  Camp ground &amenities great. Staff lovely.. BUT myself and every other camper l spoke to expected to be camping on a DAM. No water in sight! All the advertising about fishing? We paid for fishing licences for nothing. Neither us OR anyone else we spoke to caught a fish. They said they had NEVER caught one ever. We also bought pots.. NO red claw either. Felt conned.

  I've camped here and was very happy with the location, it was quiet and peaceful being 4km away from the highway. There is a very nice trail, if you want to venture into the bush. I did some fishing off the boat ramp and caught a few catfish, if you want some baramundi it's recommended to have a boat. Plenty of wild life, so if you want to see some eagles or wallabies you'll definitely see some around.

  Very peacefull surrounds. Grassed flat sites. Basic clean neat ammenities. Will definitely call in again when next we come up this way north.

  Fabulous setting, great camp kitchens, facilities very clean. This is a definite on every visit north. Added bonus is the GigGin butcher. We love Lake Monduran and it's staff, who are super helpful. Thanks, Peter & Doris
